The screws won’t go in Wtf is up with these poor instructions
Hi jpw5029, thanks for your message. Can you please email hello@ocam.com.au and include your full name on the order or an email address. Our customer care team will be happy to help. Regards,
Would help if I could actually hold the screws and stuff instead of dropping them in the engine bay and then not being able to find them so having to wait till the next day to buy more screws :(
Takes a few attempts to get the idea.😮
Is this same for 2015 1kd?

You dont mention anything about reinstalling the black rubber strip for the MR Triton. Do you just cut it to size and put it back in?
Hey Adam, thanks for your message. Yes, cut it back to size. Use Sikaflex or a good auto silicon to stick the pieces back in, Cheers
I have a set of Ocam mirrors and cracked the indicator glass, managed to get a new one sent that is basically a plug n play setup but can't work out how to take the old one out, can you help me out, don't want to force anything and risk breaking something lol
Hi Wayne, thanks for your message. This request is best sent to our customer care team via email, hello@ocam.com.au. We would have sent this on for you but can't find your email address in our system. Thanks.

I have bought a roof rack for my triton 2015 and I have another awkward story. I have to remove some stuff from the inside, use a grinder and silicon according to the manual. This video is way to misleading because I chose the brand only for this video !
Dear Camilo, it was good to talk with you today. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. "05" (May) as the starting month for the production of the MQ Triton has now been added to this video name, i.e., to specify the date of the changeover from Triton MN - MQ. Unfortunately, the MN Triton does not have the factory mounting points in the roof and requires removing the headlining and drilling through the channels. We provide a video to demonstrate the installation process here, ua-cam.com/video/iDQQOYec3zU/v-deo.html We can do this installation at any one of our stores. Kind regards,
What is the price?
hi Sylvia, they start from $89. Heres the link, www.ocamkids.com.au/kids-tee-pees/
Hey mate! Quick question... if i mount my brackets the same way you do and bolt the rail to the angled face, it leaves the top coming out completely out of level. (I dont understand how yours doesn't!) Mine only works if i bolt the rail on the inside of the bracket to the plumb face. Hope the makes sence... Am i missing somthing? Great vid though!!
Hey Louie, thanks for your message. You can loosely install the rails to the roof rack and lower the assembly together onto the feet. It should all pull in together. If you're still having any issues with this, please email some photos to our customer care team, hello@ocam.com.au and your order reference. Our team will be happy to help. Thanks
A word of warning if you buy the Rhino Rack Backbone mount it is totally different install procedure than this one. I know because I just did it. With the Rhino rack system you definitely need to drop the entire roof lining and remove the air con ducts otherwise you can't get to the bolt holes at the front and rear. A real pain of a job. Took me about a day and a half of steady work but eventually got there. A lot of stuff to pull out and put back again. It is worth it though as the mounting position is much more secure than using the existing plastic tabs.
Thanks for your feedback Don. The mounting system for the OCAM roof rack for the Pajero has been around since 2017. There has never been a problem with the mounting positions we use. It's a little challenging to get to the centre mount, but as long as an extended-length socket is used, it's quite manageable. Regards,
@@OcamindustriesAu Yes, I was quite surprised when I pulled it apart that the factory roof rails just connect to the plastic tabs on the roof at the front and the rear. The plastic tabs are in turn bolted through the roof by 2 bolts each and can only be accessed from within the cab (ie drop the roof lining/rear air con ducting). The middle support is the only one to have the bolt go through the roof and can be accessed as you have shown though the one on the passenger side needs the air con ducting unscrewing and pushing aside (fairly simple) . Seems to be a bit of a strange set up by Mitsubishi and as you say probably a secure mount point however I would definitely prefer to have the roof rack mount bolts go through the roof in all locations (though a lot of extra work!) - especially when off road with a fully loaded rack.
Do you have a phone number missing some clips when purchased new thanks.
Hi, please call our customer care team on 03 9357-0306
For people who are reading the comments you don’t really have to bother marking out the Bonet with a marker since the video shows the first 2 main clips are fitted in with the holes of your car so line up the protective tape with those 2 holes and place the clips in. Then after you screw the bonnet protecter onto those 2 main clips you basically have your template for the rest of the clips, screws and protective tape placement. Just make sure your fingers are small enough to press down the protective tape underneath the bonnet protector or just push it up like I did, it has quite a bit of flex anyways.
Thank you for your feedback. Appreciate it!
Trying to put the screw back in and it won’t do up any suggestions @ocam?
Hi Damien, thanks for reaching out. One of our Customer Care team members will be in touch with you to assist. Regards
Ordered my son one it arrives in a few days can’t wait 🥰
Thanks, KlassyKoo. Enjoy!
Legendary. Thanks heaps!!!
Perfect tepee
Pro tip, wet your fingers in sliver before spreading the sikaflex, makes wiping it off your fingers really quick and easy
excelent
Thanks. Glad we could help!
Well I have just learnt that I need this to be done to my new base cannon ute, bit of and over sight by the dealer not letting you know that you need to have holes drilled to put roof racks on.. What vehicle today doesn't have roof rack mounting as standard.. Plus great to see you add Sikaflex to seal the mounting brackets as this has been pointed out in many install vids about leaking issues as the rubber gaskets break down over time and will leak. I bought my roof flat rack from OCAM QLD great products.. Now I have to chat to the dealer about this over sight and dread the cost involved to have roof racks installed. Thankyou for sharing and great step by step installation video, never seen such a descriptive video as yours.. Great one Cheers
hi Tony, thank you for your positive feedback about the OCAM roof rack. We hope you enjoy it. Unfortunately, there are still various manufacturers not supplying factory roof rack mounting and you're right.. it creates extra work... In any case, we hope it goes well and if you need help installing it, please let us know. Wishing you all the best. If there is anything else we can help you with for your Cannon, please let us know. Cheers!
How do you combat the two outer clips coming off since they don't screw in like the two middle clips? Came home today and noticed the outer clips weren't sitting flush against the bonnet and I had to push them back
Hi Baris, I note you're near our Epping store. If it's persisting, please feel free to call us on 9357-0306 and arrange a time to come in to have it looked at by our team.

Can it fit for ford ecosport 2014
Hi, thanks for your enquiry. I don't believe it would suit the Ecosport, though it may be worth a try. We can help you source a set of clips for the Ecosport if you need. Please contact any one of our stores for assistance. Thanks
Hi, will this fit an older style Pajero 2003?
НI Lachlan unfortunately no
Thanks very helpful
You have to remove the weather strip and attach it to the door not try to slip it over. You will understand this comment when you do it.
Good video
Just installed mine on my 120. It's impossible with the brackets on the outside, just possible with them all on the inside you may even have to move a bracket or 2 to the outside and have the rest on the inside. Bring a tall mate because you might have to take it on and off a couple of times.

I wish Ocam 4x4 took this much care when they did my roofrack the other day. They did a real dodgy job , one of the mount screws has 6 washers on it. Im going to take it somewhere else to fix it up. Real horie bunch of guys

Hello John I've watched your vid's on your widow weather shields installation and was considering purchasing 4 my 150 prado . But after going through your negative feedback on ebay I'm not sure if I want to any more, , regards Neil .
Hi Neil, thank you for your feedback. We'll always stand by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. If our products fails, we have no hesitation in offering a full refund. As long as the vehicle's surface is clean and dry and you've applied heat to the 2-sided tape prior to sticking it down, and you're sticking it immediately, you won't have an issue with our weathershields. Regards
really good tips I really like your instructions!
Thank you Eman. We appreciate your feedback 😊!!

Hi Karen, thank you for your feedback!
thanks for sharing that vid however it's a pity you didn't show how does it look like after fitting as this is what I wanted to see the most as I'm considering buying one
Hi there thanks for your feedback. Here’s the link where you can find available options with this bonnet protector, clink the links to see some photos, www.ocamindustries.com.au/bonnet-protectors/holden/captiva/7-cg-s2/
big help installing my rack. thank you
Cheers Daniel. You're welcome!!
Thanks for the vid, very helpful!! I know this is off topic lol, but I absolutely love your top/cardigan, where did you get it??
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was going to do what the skid factory did on theirs and rip the headliner and aircon ducts out to get to the middle bolt etc, but you made this so simple. I take it that the nuts for the front and back fixing are "stuck in place" inside? or is there thread internally as you just placed the bolt back into the hole ( reused correct)?
Hi Mark, you're welcome. Yes correct re front and rear mounts. Cheers again
I think the skid factory used the Rhino Rack backbone mount. If you use this one you definitely need to drop the roof lining and remove the air con ducts. Much more secure mounting than the Ocam one though.
